The Fossil Art

Fossil not just the past, it can be “modern art” in hands of Rachel Dein.

Rachel Dein made something different from preserved flowers and other things that you might want to preserve too. In 2012 she showed her work of plaster cast tiles to a owner of a flower shop. The owner of the flower shop admired her work, and gave her fundings to create more of these “modern fossil” art works.

How to make this product is simple: the first think is she pressed the flower into wet clay and then pours in a mixture of a plaster and concentrate to make a magnificent product. When the tiles dry, you don’t have to paint it. This product not just to preservation the flower but also the shell that you found in you holiday, treasured lace of your grandmother’s, a christening gown or the flower from your wedding, or anything that you want to keep in eye.
